We’re looking for an inspiring and ambitious Head of IT and Business to join our ‘Outstanding’ academy. Are you committed to supporting all students to achieve their best and genuinely subscribe to the principle of ‘high support and high challenge’? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

In this key role, you will lead a team of skilled and dedicated colleagues, offering guidance, support and examples of inspirational practice. You will drive standards of student engagement, attainment and achievement, effectively evaluate the curricula and strategically plan for future growth and development of both subject areas in-line with the Trust’s vision.

Brayton Academy has been ‘Outstanding’ for a number of years and our most recent inspection has confirmed this remains the case. The key reasons for this are our students’ exemplary behaviour and excellent attitudes to learning, an exceptional teaching team, a genuine commitment to staff welfare underpinned by our unique coaching model and a visible and supportive Leadership Team. This enables students to make substantial progress which places us in the top 100 schools in England. This truly is an excellent time to join our thriving academy.

Brayton Academy is proud to be part of Resilience Multi Academy Trust. Our core values of Resilience, Aspiration and Empowerment, alongside well-established systems and processes such as Positive Discipline, Coaching and an expert curriculum has helped to transform our schools – as well as the lives of students and teachers. We have a genuine commitment to being an ‘employer of choice’ and this is reflected in our additional PPA period for every member of staff, a generous leave of absence policy and a genuine commitment to drive down workload. The successful candidate will enjoy access to high quality and personalised CPD. You will be joining an Academy where a recent staff survey showed 97% of staff would recommend the Academy as a good place to work.

This role provides a real opportunity for you to make your mark, and as a growing Trust with an excellent reputation and access to high-quality CPD for all, there are always opportunities for career development.

Want to know more? We welcome you to come and visit the academy. Please contact Sophie Addison, PA to the Principal at saddison@braytonacademy.org.uk, to book a visit.
