An exciting opportunity has arisen at BBG Academy. BBG Academy seeks an inspiring and ambitious Assistant SENDCO to join our vibrant academy. We are passionate about providing every pupil with the opportunities to achieve their very best and we are looking for a colleague who shares this passion
As Assistant SENDCO, you will:
· Support the SENDCO to guide and shape the SEND provision in the academy in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Principal and the Rodillian Multi Academy Trust
· Support the academy to raise standards of student engagement, attainment and achievement.
· Collaborate with the SENDCO in their evaluation of the academy’s SEND provision and support them strategically plan for its future development in-line with the Trust’s vision.
· Assist the SENDCO to support the team within the SEND provision and promote a person-centred, inclusive practice in which the interests and needs of pupils with SEND and/or disabilities are at the heart of all actions.
BBG Academy is part of Resilience Multi Academy Trust, which also includes Featherstone Academy, Brayton Academy, Churwell Primary Academy, Southway, UTC and the founding school, Rodillian Academy. BBG Academy is oversubscribed, has achieved significantly above average Progress 8 scores over the past three years and holds an Ofsted rating of good.
