Pay Scale: SCP25-29 - (£35,235 - £38,626 per annum FTE)

Actual Salary: £23,806 - £26,097 per annum

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months

Hours: 30 hours per week - Term time only

Start Date: 26 August 2025

An exciting new opportunity has become available to work in our PE department at Rodillian Academy. If you have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for rugby and/or you are a sports university student looking for a 12 month placement, we want to hear from you! Working closely with our highly skilled and dedicated PE team, the successful candidate will assist in delivering high quality PE/Rugby sessions, coaching our highly regarded rugby union teams in Years 7 to 13. The successful candidate will help lead the rugby program, with a view to leading autonomously over time.  Flexibility is essential, with a requirement to support Saturday fixtures as appropriate.

If you are considering a route into teaching, this is a perfect way to gain experience. With the appropriate qualifications, you could then go on to apply to train to teach with us on our exciting 1-year programme through the School Direct initiative in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and Leeds Beckett University.
